I would think a $25 plaque for 1st-3rd is fair for 10+ teams paying an entry fee. I know 3 years ago when i was big into ncpa there were huge trophoes given out. Schools like to see a little more than smiles when they shell out over 600 for their students to compete. Little stuff like that with community service is what keeps clubs alive.

I will ask Ken this when I meet with him on Sunday, as well as inquire about the layout.
Anything else you want me to ask, let me know. I will be filming our practice with my GoPro so you all can see the field.

Ask him if we can pay a fee to Headrush and bring our own paint (as long as it is approved by Ken), seeing as how we already have an account for paint with our local field. It would save us from spending even more money on paint.

Any paint shot in ASP MUST be white fill paint. Does your field sell white fill paint?

They have all colors, including white. If they are out of stock, they can reorder more. I just need to know if its a possibility soon enough so I can find out if ordering more white paint is an option.

I know that doing that would be fine if you were to practice there, however I'm not sure if they will allow that for the tournament as that's the main source of revenue for the field. I'll ask on Sunday though.

AA has never been BYOP due to the fact that the source of revenue IS the the profit from paint. Although, I'd like t do the same, it is highly unlikely that headrush or any field would allow it.

At the Liberty Open, we did BYOP (trying to help out our fellow college teams), and because teams dropped out, we lost money on the event. Not enough entry fees to cover the cost of refs and gas for the compressor...
We will not do it that way ever again...

Sorry to hear that dude. Plus, Headrush is indoor and indoor fields cost more to run than outdoor fields with HVAC and lighting... and we're bringing in some very good refs...
Off topic, but one of our players is transferring to Liberty right now. PM me if you want more info about him.
