They shoot well, have a good straight shot, and are very easily serviced. They are, however, very cramped when compared to a LUXE.

I noticed the lobbed shot in the Geo 2. Didn't like it at all. G6R and NT are the most flat trajectory, ball on ball markers I've ever used.

I will have to disagree with Zero...

The GEO 2 does not lob like an ego, and has as flat a trajectory as the Marq, LUXE, and NT.

I took a few shots from a geo 2, totally lobbed

the trajectory for any paintball given the same mass and velocity are the same unless there is some sort of spin imparted on the pb. It's science, and last i knew no one was defying physics yet.

What the **** does that have to do with anything?

I personally think that the flat trajectory is because the way the barrel line is set up. Sometimes it can be set up "Dye NT" to point up a little more.

and i'm saying that the shape of the trajectory, ie the flatness, is the same for every marker given they are shooting the same weight object at the same velocity.

Oh no. Not this again.

There are other factors involved aside from physics (velocity, gravity, mass). How the ball is propelled (air flow, barrel quality, firing mechanics) has a direct effect on the trajectory. Compare an Ego to anything else and you'll see the difference.

And as Texasfury already mentioned, the NT's barrel is raised several degrees from the breach so the ball will have a straighter trajectory.

yes, and i didn't want to start a flame war here so i wasn't going to comment on it. BUT since i have nothing else to do...

first: if the barrel is pointed up more the trajectory will be curved more. myth busted, Adam Savage would be proud.

Second, I highly doubt that the NT's barrel is angled. from a manufacturing standpoint it makes no sense. You'd have to make yet another tool set-up to angle the barrel threads. this cost more money and time, so why would a company do that when you can achieve the same results by simply tilting the marker back a tiny bit.

nope. once the PB leaves the barrel the maker has absolutely no influence on the pb. so like i said the first time, unless the marker has imparted a spin on the pb, they are all going to shoot the same trajectory.

Oh jesus, this discussion, lol. Wasn't this also going on in the cockers vs mag days? Someone tell me I am not the only one that remembers those flame wars.

Tempted to buy a Luxe 1.5... just don't know though. Bleh. Trying to decide between that or an NT11. I owned an NT before and I hated it.
