I have little doubt they can and will run smooth and fair events, but imho it has yet to happen.

GL in the opening season USPA, I wish all the best for you guys.

While I will say I hope to learn and get better with each event, I've heard no complaints from the players that have competed at events at CRU.

I hope to have CRU judged by what is seen and experienced by the players, not just have players form opinions based on their buddies statements.

Your absolutely Dave...

those are the only events you have attended right? Events ran by TC/Rick since 2009, so you really have no idea how well events are ran there with out them.

Also its not like there completely on their own for the USPA, there are standards and guidelines that must be followed for the events, so unless you have contacted the owner of the USPA and got some details that I dont already know about please enlighten us all.

I have been playing and attending events since about 2001 Cru is very capable of running an event all on there own, they even picked up and moved in less then a year... Going by Michigan's current field trends and economy most fields would of just closed up and called it a good run and not move. But Cru as the passion along with dedication that you dont see often enough in Paintball fields.

But in all honestly, we have to wait and see... Just like with HydroTec Paintballs

Well spoken Noah....who wrote that for you...lol, jk

i talked to jared earlier today and he said it looks like after next week (once deposits get in) there will only be 2 spots left for the CRU location. just waiting on teams to get deposits in. Jared is very confident this area will sell out so dont waste any time if you are thinking about getting a team together for this league

However you're right. CRU has not run a full X-ball tournament or league... nor has any field for many years in Michigan.

Luckily they have a great staff that knows how to keep things organized, and the USPA is coming in with their own management and staff to make sure that it is played the way X-ball is meant to be played. Between the USPA and CRU, this is bound to be a lot of fun.

I hope to see those last few slots fill up!

in most cases i agree with you, but i think they did the ban/censoring thing because the guys that use the USPA account on here were filling up everyone's inboxes. Which is cool if they did it once just to spread the word, but in my case they sent me in the ball park of 5 messages of the same content. And being that i have received infractions from "corporate spam" I get why they would do that with the USPA because i didnt even do what the USPA did, i posted something like a link to my website saying i can do something a little bit more intricate than painting. Which i dont agree with me receiving the infraction but rules are rules and i get why they enforced it on me....its like if we let one guy get away with it then everyone else will feel they can too, and imagine if they let a larger company get away with just posting ads all over the nation and filling people's inboxes. Complete pandemonium! lol

This will be held outside with a regulation field/pits/scoreboards right? It does say "REAL xball" after all.

Where can we see the teams signed up?

Is this an APPA serviced event?

Are there event prizes?

Whats the deal with paint?

No need for a rude response as their websight is actually missing these important details. Thanks for the info.

wasn't being rude, i found the prize info on their site. i knew the other answers from talking to the USPA people. There used to be a thread with all the info, but PBNation keeps taking all the threads down which is rather annoying when people like yourself ask for info. a better breakdown would be

50 min xball matches , 2-25 min halfs
$3600 per team covers entry for entire season
you play 5 matches ( over 3 events) at your host field
oaint is 38 per case

top 5 teams from each host field make it to sectionals, from there i think the top 2 make it to regionals where they play the other top 2 teams from the other fields. then there is finals. $8000 first place
roster capped @ 15 players, 12 is the min. required ( $300 per player) if you roster 15 you must pay an extra $300 for the additional 3 players.

rulebook is still being finalized, but will be comparable to cxbl or axbl

anything i missed just let me know

Just to clarify, if 15 is rostered it is an additional $300 per person. Not just an extra $300 for the team
