I think a section for people who have been scammed, or are 100% positive they are being scammed should be made. I understand that there is a Theft Report Section already. But this could be for people to try an help the people who have been scammed. Only reason this came to mind was from the recent influx of people being scammed by people in Florida (My State). And many people in Florida have done everything they could to help, and have actually helped a few people get their gear/money back.

You could almost make it like a White Hat helping system. Where only people who are verified to help others can. That way random people can't just come in and troll or ask for the scammer's information and not even help.

I understand things like this are supposed to go to the local police in the area of the incident. But lets be honest here, we all know that someone being scammed online is on the very bottom of their list, especially if they are in a bigger city.

Just put some thought to it, I know it could do good and help people get their gear or money back that they deserve.

How would you become a verified helper then?

Doesn't seem like it needs it's own section to me. We already have a theft report thread and anyone who wants to help can help then.

I'm not really sure. I was thinking if there was enough interest in the section we could all brainstorm with the mods/admins about it.

It could still work as a section in its own though.
Theft Report-Post up the users who have scammed you

New section- "Need help trying to get your gear or money back? Come here where verified helpers are!"

I'm just thinking it could work out, and it would give almost another step of security for new users on pbn wary about trading.

I imagine there'd be some legal liability issues if we were to endorse private individuals taking care of these problems.

Sorry, but the best approach is to work with the police local to the scammer. Eventually, they'll sit up and take notice of a frequent scammer.
