eportal

I got the same thing, I wrote it off that Cup travel and some other things have likely prevented it from being made live.

My guess is that it will be live by around this time next week.

In the meantime, I'd guess that the markers don't require a firmware upgrade & I'm sure that we can live with the default boot screen for another week.

If you have a Mac, use VirtualBox. The whole process including your Windows image will be free. I used to use this for testing webpage data. I don't see why it couldn't work for eportal, but no promises since I haven't used the eportal software before.

Step 1: Download/install virtual box (free)
https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads

Step 2: Download a windows image from MS (free)
https://dev.modern.ie/tools/vms/windows/

Step 3: Install windows image onto VirtualBox (brain power)
I think this is pretty straight forward, but you may need to do some googling for proper instructions.
