Just an FYI May 2nd is a Monday. Not sure if it was something you over looked when planning the schedule or if it was done intentionally.

Good to hear Joe. Will you be using the same waiver that you use for walk-on play?

I have been keeping a watchful eye on everything. Depending on how things go, this could be the only game I make this year.

Equipment allowed?
Due to the scenario used(Axis and Allies, WWII based game), will there be any general equipment not able to be used, such as Gillie Suits, or Rocket Launchers, etc?

No problem with the normal equipment being used.

Rocket launchers must be checked out by Duff or me. all launchers other then store bought have to have a blow off valve between the air supply and launch trigger.

Any notes on allowed construction materials, PVC barrels, reservoirs etc.
There should be a seperate area with the allowed desgin criteria, though with the great commercially manufactured options available, it's hardly worth a new build.

The only official thing i can find as far as a safety issue is the blow off valve. it is recommended that any PVC launchers go no higher then 200psi this i got from a manufacturer i talked to in the US.

To make an addendum to that statement. PVC chambers must be made of Schedule 80 ONLY (no Schedule 40 or Schedule 120) Pipe diameter can be no larger than 3 inches. These restrictions are only for the air chamber and valve. There is no restrictions for material or diameter after the valve.
Anyone wishing to use one of these PVC chambers must be willing to pressurize their systems to the point where the blow off valve activates in order to check maximum pressure and safe operating ranges.

What about the valves themselves, are modified plastic bodied lawn sprinkler valves OK , as long as operated below their 150 psi stated maximum.
I got hold of some fire extuinguishers to use as reservoirs, but have not had much luck with the metal body valve. If I can just switch the reservoirs an keep the valve it should be good to go.

the popoff valve would need to be at 1/2 the max pressure rating of the valve (or weakest component in the law) . So if the valve is rated at maximum 200psi operating pressure your popoff must release at 100psi.

Can't wait this it going to be an awesome event , I haven't been to Sherwood in long time, ready to check out all the new stuff and play that castle one more time.
Is there going to be a final battle on Sunday only at the castle?

If you haven't been to Sherwood in awhile you are going to be amazed at what Joe has done.
Yes there will be a final battle around the castle. There is now a 2 story cathedral behind and to the left of the castle. Plans are to move the slap sticks out further and encompass that area also in the final battle.
