without knowing how long it is it is hard to tell. it really could be any poppet. if you measured its length it would help a lot.

well the hole for the bolt pin is vertical and not horizontal so i think that knocks it out as a cocker bolt

Not cocker, in any way.

It's an Alamo City Low Blow bolt. Purple dyed delrin.

The issue is that they make these bolts for EVERYTHING, from Brass Eagles to Egos.

Do you have a tape measure or caliper handy? A few measurements would help narrow things down.

Or maybe drop a note to the manufacturer. http://www.alamocitypb.com

Looks pretty close. Shouldn't be too hard to locate one of those at the local field to test out if you want to be 100% sure.

i dont believe that is for a spyder unless the mr1 takes a new style detent.

the detents for a spyder look like this:

if you notice the side of the bolt it is cut for a ball and spring detent. like a cocker has. i was earlier inclined to think that it was not a cocker bolt but the detent cuts make it look like it may be and there are a couple of cockers out there that take the bolt pin from the top. a freeflow lotus being one of them.

the arikon sim 5 looks the same dont know what kind of detents it has.

also the wgp synergy bolt:

here is the manufacturers website have a look.

Timmy or top cocking Spyder would be my guess. Some spyders (ie Imagines) have the piston style detents similar to what Marqs have, not all of them use the nubbin.

Fubarius was right, it's a low blow bolt for a Spyder VS 2 or VS 3; the detent cutouts really give it away. I considered buying one when I had my VS 2...

These things were supposed to impart a backspin on the ball, like a Cooper-T better bolt or the bolt from an Alien gun.
Not sure if I'm buying that as a substitute to an Apex or a Flatline though.

Has anyone ever gotten a chance to test one out?

its definately not a cocker bolt, if youll notice in that pic the eye is on the right side of the gun...cockers have detents on the left side...groove is cut into the right side of the bolt....thus, not a cocker bolt.

i vote spyder or timmy.

It is absolutely not an Autococker bolt. They would not design the bolt for a specific model of Autococker when the market value would be negligible (Seeing as Cockers aren't nearly as popular as they once were). They would either design it for a Pre-2k Cocker, Post 2k Cocker, or Evo length Cocker. Any other design for a Cocker would be a waste of resources.

Since of all of those options, the only possibility would be an Evo design due to the vertical pin, that is immediately ruled out by looking at the detent groove.

I don't think it's an autococker bolt either BUT, if you could give them the measurements or a detailed description of the special changes you wanted made I would imagine ACP would be the kind of place that would whip pretty much any kind of custom bolt up for you.

I bet most of their stuff is made-to-order anyway. I can't see them keeping something like 9 baby-blue Viewloader Maxis bolts in a drawer somewhere.

if you go to their website you will see that they did make bolts for specific cockers. they also made them for the synergy and system x cockers specifically.

a bolt specifically for the freeflow lotus.

copied from their site:
"WGP FREE FLOW AUTOCOCKER "LOW BLOW" DELRIN BOLT

Made specifically for the FREE FLOW using a vertical bolt pin, "P" block design. Weighs only 33 grams.

$28.95 "

obviously this isnt the bolt that was pictured by op do to different shaft. but just know that they do make very specific designs.

i could see it being a spyder bolt but i dont know of a timmy that doesnt use nubbin detents and it would seem illogical to me to make a cut for detents like that if it were for a timmy. it also wont let me blow up any of the timmy bolts to see the detent slots but it is definately not a timmy bolt that they show on their website. looking at the spacing from the front to the hole above the valve it looks more like a spyder. the cocker is much shorter looking.
