Newbie PLEASE HELP Ego 11 pops Asa leak

Just bought a ego 11 upgraded from an etek 3 AM, and aster I put on the air tank and I pushed the pops valve in I can hear an air leak for about 10 seconds and then it goes away, any ideas what can be wrong with this brand new $1250 gun

it's probly just the macro line, its very comon, but pin pointing where the leak is coming from would help us give you better answer

That's the black hose do I need to replace that or it will go away? Because when I first put on the tank it leaked for like 20 seconds and now the more I push it on and off seems to be going away sooner then it did when I first started

Try to pinpoint the leak and post it in there.

the hose probably has a little cut or hole somewhere in it... or you just need to push the hose all the way into the fittings on either end...

Well actually my third gun in about 2 months

First I got a tippmann 98 custom pro 2 weeks later sold that and bought a etek am and about 3 weeks after that bought an ego 11

It's a brand new gun out of the box I'm not sure why the hose would have a cut in it as these get tested

So, a month into paintball, and you are shooting your 3rd gun and it happens to be an Ego 11? IMO, learn how to work on your guns well before dropping that much cash on one. Im sorry, but this whole scenario seems a tad ridiculous.

tank cover has nothing to do with your leak.

Replace the macroline and be sure to cut it level when you do.

Tank cover was for the other guy he was looking for one

I don't care $1250 for a gun is nothing to me atleast I rather pay someone to fix it if something goes wrong

Then take it to your local pro shop and have them fix it, or send it PE.

You don't need to buy new anything IF it is the macroline.

Just wiggle it if it leaks at gas up. It's not a big deal. It's in fact normal. If you don't like it, you shoulda got a luxe.

Posting in a section for new players is not a ideal spot to ask that question since most new players dont go and get a brand new ego from who ever might have paid for it.

If anything take this to PE's section.

When you say $1250 is nothing for you do you really mean it's nothing for my parents to spend on a hobby that you've spent more time buying and selling gear than actually playing?

Sorry, I just find it hard to believe that a new player (spending their own money) would quickly go through 3 guns from entry level to an ego without batting an eye regarding the cost.

Own money and I'm in law enforcement so no parents money here

Here's how it started about 1 1/2 month I went to play pb with my friends we all got guns and after that day it changed everything immediately I ordered a tippmann gun with my buddy because we fell in love in the sport, and we got tippmans because that's what the rentals were, after about 3 weeks my friend bought and etek 2 and when I was playing with him I was amazed how fast and accurate that gun was, so immediately I sold the tippmann bought a etek 3 Am and about a month into pb I started looking and ugrades for the etek the LCD board and starting wAtching alot of utube videos, so then I came across the ego fell in love with that instantly started doing research and I liked all the ugrades the ego 11 had including the nice LCD board so I sold my etek 3 am and bought a ego 11 Shriner 2 simple and after shooting it last night for the first time one word only. Amazing
