Since the Green Bay Packers and our series both anounced that this evening was a GAME DAY, we have made this evening a "Series Practice Night" with the Series Event #1 being 1/29/2011.

This will consist of No Registration Fees for tonight. There will be the $15 player fee if you wish to practice, single players may practice too but must be in High School / Middle School.

Paint will be $40/case.

The series will start in 2 weeks on Saturday, 1/29 at 5pm. This brings the series Registration down to only $180 (normally $720).

So if you were planning on coming down tonight, still do.

We will be there having a meeting at 5pm about the series. This would be a perfect thing to check out if your interested in playing the series. We will talk about everything and have Questions and Answers. This should last about a half hour or so then we will be running practice using the NCPA HS Rules so everyone can come and check it out.

I will also be on hand to help anyone with questions about the APPA system and help with setting things up.

After practice, we'll have some pizza and soda so come on down. During which time we can discuss the practice and answer anymore questions.

Then it's off to support our Green Bay Packers.

GO PACK!

I'd like to thank all of those players that came out tonight to the "Series Practice".

It was a good meeting and fun practice.

Also we have proven tonight that the field's rental equipment works just fine! Especially when the first "Pod Shot" for a prize of $20 was won by a marker owner and the second "Pod Shot" for a prize of $20 was won by a middle schooler from Appleton, WI using a Rental Marker in ONE SHOT - GREAT JOB!

Thanks again to those that came out tonight.

And Now I have to talk to my guys to get them to want to go up to Green Bay...

Also, can we pay for the whole series, and miss one event? We have a school event on the 29th..

No penalty for wearing Bears jerseys, right? (Gotta show some support for the better team, lol)

Oh, on a (slightly) more serious note, what time can we expect to be done? I wanna see if we have to stay in a hotel, or if we may be able to make the drive back to Chicago that night.

SWEET! Love to see your spirit but we know who the better team is. LOL

Yes, for sure you can pay the series registration and miss events if need be. There would not be any refund for that week, though.

The series registration works out to basiclly - you pay for 4 events and you get 3 for free.

We would love to see the support from our PB brothers from the south. And would that be something if the first ever NCPA HS Series State Champion for WI be a team from IL, hmmm.

Expecting to be done around 8pm.

The series reg price on the APPA system will be updated momentarially, thank you.

Lol, we'll see who the better team is on Sunday. (I got tickets D )

Alright sweet, we'll definitely be registering for the series and show you WI guys what REAL paintballers play like.

Lol, if we were to be the NCPA HS Series State Champion for WI, I would have to laugh at the irony.

Sweet, if we're done at 8, we can make it home at a decent time (11PM, )

I gotta get these dudes to sign up on APPA so I can get us registered. I'm hoping to make at least two lines, but one is for sure.

Nice!

Yeah, season registration is the way to go for teams that plan on playing more than 3 events. It's a lot cheaper.

Have fun at the game on Sunday!

Dinner Included!

Remember, also included for every team that participates, a one topping pizza from PIZZA HUT at every event.

Along with a ice cold soda or water per player.

So be prepared at team check-in to let us know what topping your team wants.

Check out the sweet NCPA/Open 5man practice going down after the DPO HSCS on Saturday 1/29.

http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.p...1#post69885015

If you play in the DPO HSCS, your $15 player entry fee will also get you in for the practice afterwards without having to pay again.

Looking for a Room?

The Hampton Inn in Green Bay, just down the road from the field, is offering special deals for teams coming to Commando Paintball.

David Vincent, the Front Office Manager, brings his family out to play paintball, and he generously offers discounts to players.

Call (920) 498-9200, and ask for David, tell them its for Commando Paintball.

excuse me while i get my sun tan lotion...
so our school will not fund us for a lot of BS reasons like "people can join other clubs" so we need to figure out some fundraisers that dont require a down payment to start, any ideas?

Hey quick question for you:

Since we won't be doing the first event, I was just gonna sign up starting the second with the seasonal entry.. but the date the entry fee is due is different. Which date do I have to put the payment in by? 1/26 (Date on Event 1) or Feb 2 (Date on event 2)?

Also, does each player HAVE to put in an extra $15 every week at the field, or is that just if we want to do drills beforehand? There seems to be conflicting information between your site and the NCPA HS site...

Also, you might wanna rephrase the "all expense paid trip" to nationals... the NCPA website says we only get $1100... which barley covers airfare now adays :/ .

Looking forward to getting out there to see what everyone's got!

EDIT: Oh yeah, bears lost :/
