Any good crowds on saturdays for speedball? Thinking about heading out but want to know whats the play like before i make the trip.

i don't think anyone plays on sunday mornings because there aren't any active teams out of there anymore.
sometimes we old sc rage players come out, then there are a few random players here and there. i'm trying to get something together for this weekend, but we may go to atomic. next time we have like 5 players together ill post something on here. it would be great to have some of those mornings like there used to be with at least 3 or 4 teams.

it's still a good field. it's just that it used to be great for tournament players, now with the new location, i think the owners decided to focus on getting more rec players in. they do bring the most revenue.
i used to play at the old ballbusters location with a bunch of guys out of charleston. now i think they play out of greenville and rock hill.
if you're just looking for good tournament teams to play with, go to atomic in north augusta. atl breakout plays out of their. they're having a practice this weekend, both days, and they're very welcoming for anybody to come play with them.

I agree. I remember those mornings. Makes me miss them. Spanky, who are you?

I didn't play much in the mornings back when it was still off of 378, but I'm one of the twins that were always out there. Let me know next time you guys go out there or if you'll be out there this saturday or something. I'd be happy to make the drive and get a little practice in. Any of you playing Cup?

Is there a big enough tournament paintball presence in Charleston to get together a small CFOA team to travel to practice and a few CFOA's? Decent players?

Probably so, but a large majority of us play with Upstate Army, Dark Carnival, and Atlanta Breakout. So pickings might be slim.

How many guys from this area play on those teams? Also, do you know if any of those teams are looking for players / having tryouts?

Does Painbtall Charleston have an airball field? Maybe some of those guys would want to get together and have a throw together day? Just wanting to get some reps in. Its been awhile

Paintball charleston has had numerous problems with airball and do not offer it any more. Upstate army will be having tryouts in december but you're welcome to.come practice with us in Greenville any time. The only airball field in charleston is compass Paintball.

name's jarrett schumpert, i played with sc rage for scfoa, cfoa and a couple of psp events in 05 and 06. were you one of those guys who bought that fancy ion that jeb built? that red and silver thing? hah. yea i'll let you know next time we get some guys together, it's usually 8 or 10 so it makes for an alright day of play. nah nobody i know out of there is playing cup. couple of guys might be going down just to watch n stuff.

if we go anywhere this weekend it'll be atomic on saturday.

and if you're wondering what ballbusters is like heres a few, not so great, pictures of their speedball field. most of the field is grass, though theres a few spots of just dirt.

Yeah.. Rip all the hoses and internals to shreds. Piece of ****. haha. But yes, you've got the right twins in mind. If you guys are ever up for traveling up to Greenville one weekend let me know. We practice up there about every other week. Next one is a CFOA practice on the 30 I believe to get ready for the CFOA "Tournament of Champions" season closer.
