I wouldn't run the eigenram and the lp poppet together. I've used both and sold the ram not long after I received it. The lp poppet works great though.

If you want smooth shot you just will need the LP poppet, the g6r is so smooth that im shooting it stock and i am a spool maker fan give it a try stock and if you need it more smooth put the Lp in and start painting faces

And like Viper said leftcoastpaintball.com

oh, i didn't mean to run them together, i was just listing the options. i don't have a g6, but i've got a vice with the lp poppit, and its great! smooth as anything i've owned. it also happens to have the most rounds through it out of anything i own. my ram slides back and forth when you tilt the gun, but i have no leaks, so i'm pretty happy with the way its broken in.

I personally ran into problems with the gen 5 eigen ram with my vice with both the lp and stock poppits, not everyone has but my pressures went crazy. I just stick to the lp poppit and juit bolt + appropriate settings made my vice very smooth.

I think the least upgrade necessary is 4 eyes I'd get everything else first that you might be considering.

The upgrades available are low pressure poppit, Ebisu board, 4c eyes, 4c laser eyes (coming soon), Pillow bolt (coming soon), SLP tank (sort of a tank upgrade but makes a huge difference on the G6R), Eigenram, Violent Products trigger and Critical Paintball trigger.

i personally would go with the lp Poppit, trigger (if you dont like the stock, i put a vp trigger on my G6R and absolutely love it). i also have the gen5 VP bolt in mine. iv always had great experiences with VP bolts so i went and got one. havent had any problems with it (some people have)

Also the Violent bolt for the vice/protege works on the G6R?

some people have had problems with the gen5 VP bolt in the G6R. I have not, and the gun runs perfectly.

the difference is the bolt face. the VP is cut a bit on the top like a Cure bolt, so it does not clip the next ball in the stack. the pillow bolt is the same as the stock bolt face, but with the pillow inside it

The Pillow bolt has a rubber insert in the center designed to both prevent rollback and contact a paintball easier. The Violent products bolt has a ramped top face designed to prevent ball clippings in the stack during firing.

The Violent bolt is not technically compatible with the G6R but some have been able to use it without issue. The G6R's bolt pin length is shorter in comparison to the Gen5 platform that the Violent Products bolt was designed around. What can happen is the bolt pin can pop up during firing due to it not being fully seated.

Yea I have noticed as well the length of the pin but I've taken the pillow bolt out of my vice and used it in my g6r just fine so I might pick the VP bolt up for it then worst comes to worst I throw it in my Vice

you can always swap the pin in the VP bolt for the stock pin if you have issues with it popping up

Personally I would already shoot the stock unless you already own a vp. The stock is already a cure-like design with the chamfered top face and does an excellent job of not breaking paint. I doubt you will actually notice an improvement switching to the vp. Not that they aren't fantastic bolts, but you are good to go as is with the stock.

Id say LP poppit is the only "needed" upgrade. Makes a difference in shot sound, and a huge diferent in shot feel.

The G6R poppit and the Gen5 poppit are 100% cross compatible.
