Hardcore punk died when youth crew became big. Hardcore is now crossover.

I'm kind of shocked you've never heard the phrase, or at least astonished someone would use it, it's used by nearly every music blog who has bands that are faster than hardcore but still not powerviolence.

While I'm not into most modern hardcore, most of the people in this thread are into current hardcore, which happens to be hardcore/thrash crossover.

Since you're the Almighty of this thread, what do you listen to and what were you expecting this thread to be?

I really am interested in those who come in here criticizing listen to. I'm not too into modern hardcore, a few bands, mostly in here to talk about shows and being edge. I would love a real punk thread :3

DGAF about quality. Means more to me if done by me. I'm waiting until Sunday (have a hockey game Saturday night) to finish it. Need to fix some shading on the bottom, finish the top, and thicken lines.
