Good tank size for the dm8?

heyy, so i just got a dm8 and was looking for a new tank since my 48/3000 is not fitting what i wanted. I was just wondering what a good size for the dm8 to get atleast 6-10 pods per fill. I was looking to getting a 50/45 or a 45/45 ninja tanks and maybe 68 but heard that they would be heavy and big.

can anyone help?

tanks are as much personal preference as anything. while holding the marker and my arm straight, i generally like my tank to end a little before my elbow. find it to be very comfortable, regardless of the marker i choose.

6-10 is a fairly broad range, and if you want to get that much paint out of a fill, you are going to have to get a 68/45 or larger.

i dont shoot a DM8, but i can agree with the guy above me. i shoot a 70/45 peanut. i LOVE it. so short, but it holds so much. it really is amazing.

i remember i used to always go for the shortest tank (myth reg all that jazz) but i have come to realize a longer tank is alot easier to hold, can aim easier, and is more stable for running and gunning.

what im trying to say is...its personal preference.

well you should retract that and hold both tanks of that size, the 68 is heavier, but its only a little heavier

i still use and old SCi 70/45 made in 03, and with a ninja reg it weights a little over 3 pounds.
i also use a 45/45 crossfire ss tank. wights less than 2 pounds empty. I like the heavier stubby, i like the way it feels balance wise
