The stock Ego11 board is amazing.
Unless you need more firing modes, my recommendation would be to stick with the stock board.

08 Ego, cure 3+, everything else stock. Looking at putting on a critical trigger. I'm assuming the 07 fits the 08 as those are the only ones I have found. I remember reading that the solenoid had to be filed/sanded lightly for the magnetic clip to fit...but not sure if that was for an 07 or 08 and the degree of difficultly installing the trigger. In all seriousness, I've always been partial to Virtue boards, but, in the case of Egos and Geos, I find them unnecessary unless you need a ridiculous amount of firing modes.

pretty much all barrels are good nowa days. i prefer ul's, cp, and the bob long barrels. its pretty much preference. theres a ton of good barrels out now

I have a stock SL94 with about 10,000 shots through it. Are there any big upgrades I should do to it for increased performance/efficiency? Thank you

As far as efficiency goes, there are a couple of different things you could do.
Firstly, you could get one of the new SL3 regulators found on the Ego11s.
Secondly, you could upgrade the bolt to a Hush bolt, a new Cure3+, or a Pooty modded bolt.

I'm thinking of getting an Ego 11. I already have a pepperstickz kit and a sidewinder reg (not sure if I'll put that on or not though). Looks like there probably isn't any need to upgrade anything from stock (although I'll probably get a Pooty bolt), but how is the stock trigger? Any good aftermarket triggers I should look into?

Nothing will make as big of a difference as breaking it in and dwell tuning it.

Pooty modding the Cure bolt on it wouldn't hurt though.

Well you can't slap a standard ASA threaded inline reg onto an Ego11, or Geo2 or SLS for that matter. There would be no need even if you could. The Shaft4 barrel is pretty awesome. Longer control bore boosts consistency velocity (I find) and thus the gewn wouldn't require as high of an HPR pressure to shoot at 290 FPS.

Some people get the Violent triggers but honestly, the stock are amazing.

Get the gewn, set the trigger to your liking, and shoot it first. You'll find out right away if it feels in need of a trigger "upgrade".

i have a vicious ego ten and i have heard i can not use it with its stock colors of black and yellow-gold color in the NEPL. if i cant use this color sceme were could i find a external color kit for everything yellow from the trigger housing to the front barrel piece

I have an Ego 07 with a SL board. I just bought the gun and disassemble it to clean it and noticed the rammer looks kinda like a zick rammer. There is a SL lasered on the rammer. The gun is not the SL version. What is this SL rammer and what does it do.

1.) I have an 05 Ego.
2.) The only internal upgrade is a titanium ram.

3.) I'm looking for an aftermarket board that ACTUALLY uses the LCD.

4.) Are there any boards that use an LCD screen and not just LED's? The stock board works fine for me except I need to be able to cap the ramp lower than the 15 bps on PSP mode for tournaments.

I have an etek ego 1 w/ star frame.

My question is can I upgrade to the hush bolt if I change out the pin from my original bolt into the hush bolt? It says on the hush bolt info that it's only made for 05 and up etek ego's.
