Just got an 08 ego stock. Have 80 bucks to spend. What upgrades would you recommend

You could get a new bolt, which could change optimal velocity and sound signature, but it's not a must.
Otherwise, you could get an SL3 regulator or a POPS ASA.
I personally like the POPS because I find it easier to operate than the traditional OOPS ASA, but that's just my personal preference.
There really isn't any need to upgrade the gun. It will shoot great just the way it is.

think your talking about the pops? if so ansgear sells them like 60$

I just purchased a 05 EGO with a virtue board, and i have an 08 Union Jack edition EGO. Is it possible to take that 05 virtue board and put it in my 08???

Also what is a good website for buying EGO parts, stock and upgraded parts?

Purchased an 08 Ego. This will be my first Ego, and don't know too much about them. And, by reading this thread, the ups are pretty pointless? If I was to upgrade my bolt, which would be better...the hush or cure3+, I have tried to do research, but it seems there is minimal difference. What would be a worthy upgrade to a stock 08?

To all questions regarding upgrades on any ego model:
Buy a barrel that is a good paint bore match, then send your bolt into pooty. Other than that, everything is just extras and personal prefrence.
I have contimplated buying an sl3 for my ego7 just to get even more shots off of my ego with lurker engeingram barrel and pooty mod. Might invest in a pops just to get rid of the side output for fitting and macro, but that is just my prefrence.

You should be able to transfer over the regulator collar, but I would shoot Jack or Bill a PM, just to be sure.

I had an Ego6 for a while, and it shot great without any upgrades.
However, if you feel the need to upgrade, you could also get an SL3 regulator, which is the regulator that is found on the Ego11, to improve efficiency.
You could also get a POPS system, if you don't like the standard system.
I don't see a point in upgrading the board, because the stock board is great already.

I have a Stiffy carbon fiber tip, and I love it. It's so accurate.
However, they are expensive.
You could also look into the Shaft4 barrels. Those are great.

Personally, I prefer the Hush.
Both bolts result in different sound signatures and different velocity changes.
TechT just redesigned the Hush bolt. You might want to look into any changes they brought in with the new version.

You could always upgrade the bolt if you're looking for a different sound signature, or possibly a velocity increase,
You could also upgrade to the SL3 and POPS ASA.
Other than that, you should be good to go!

The Hush bolt and Cure3/Cure3+ are all good.
Each has a different sound signature and velocity effect.
TechT just redesigned the Hush bolt, as a matter of fact.

Taken from ANS Gear's product page on the SL3 Regulator:

Also looking at getting a Cure 3+ and Zick2, are the results worth spending the 100$+ ?

Paintball Showcase has grips

Cure3+ and Zick2 can be had in the BST for considerably less. If you aren't chopping with the stock bolt, I wouldn't bother. The Zick2 is a worthy upgrade, but you don't need it.
