Any Known LV1 Issues?

I am looking at possibly getting an LV1 in a trade. I am here to ask what if any known issues in the gun. Most guns have issues and I just want to hear some honest feedback. I am going to shoot one in the next few weekends before actually purchasing it in case i decide i dont like the way the gun shoots. I have heard it does not shoot like any other ego and that they fixed (or tried to fix) a lot of the issues from the original egos

the only issue I have heard but I havent experienced with mine is the need to replace a oring. replace the 013 NBR 70 o-ring on the LPR piston with 012 NBR 90 0-ring. this was for some consistency issues some people had or something

that is the only issue i have seen when looking them up. Sounds like shots drop dramatically like from 280 to 190 if the oring needs to be replaced and i guess the replacement is a harder oring. Thanks for the info though, still want to hear more from people!!

only issue I know about is don't dry fire it. otherwise keep it lubed/oiled and a good quality battery. ive been shooting one since late 2013. follow the tune-up guide and youre good to go.

I got mine when they first came out and have never serviced mine, haven't even removed the rammer, works like a champ. There are no consistent issues with them, I would change the LPR to the 12-90, but other than that just avoid dry firing the marker.

We are the warranty center for them on the west coast and rarely have them sent in for problems(or any guns for that matter)

Side note: I would not necessarily recommend NEVER servicing the marker, but I work on guns all day at work and avoid doing so on my time off-hence my gun never being cleaned.

I have had mine since they came out and I haven't had to change an oring yet...over 80k shots and still going strong. I have greased the hpr and lpr a couple of times and that's it.

I've done the lpr oring update, replaced the front oring on the rammer and the one around the valve body after 155k shots. Still shoots smoother than anything else I've had in my hands - 3.5, luxe, you name it

I miss my lv1 prior to the oring update..yea maybe after hanging the flag I was chronoing 115 fps but it was smooth, shooting across the field and breaking.

But...ive had about 6 or so and they are great

Known issues? Not that I'm aware of other than what's been posted above... I had a solenoid go bad in one of mine, but a PE tech diagnosed it and fixed it for free at a big event.

Maintenance is easy, shoot very well, no complaints.

Purchased a 2nd had one recently, haven't messed with any settings software/hardware from previous owner, but I did notice it kicks a lot compared to my luxe should I reset everything?

tune it, play with the flow restrictors (see manual) and use heavy rammer

The only known issue is the LPR piston o-ring swap which only occurs on some markers as previously mentioned. Switching over from a Luxe (switched from a 2.0 to an LV1 myself), you can basically expect as smooth of a shot with a lot less required maintenance, lighter weight and slightly better efficiency. Length felt very similar so it is an easy transition there. Its a good upgrade in my opinion. Huge fan of the Luxe too but this gun just has a lot of simplicity to it with similar performance.

The LV1 shoots as smooth as the Luxe with 99% less maintenance.

That's not fanboyism, that's cold hard fact.
