I am off to University of Utah next year, and was wondering whether the school has any paintball clubs. I'm not looking to play competitively, just a group of people to meet up with and play on the weekends.

I go to the U, but I haven't found any sort of club. I usually just get a bunch of my friends and go to UXP on a Tuesday to save money.

I actually belong to a local team Salt City Vengeance and am attending the U. You don't have to commit to anything, but check out our Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/SaltCityVengeance. I am thinking of starting a club up there because I don't believe there is a paintball club. Reply if you guys would be interested in that.

I've played with a lot of the people from Vengeance on Monday nights. If you start a club or anything like that I would be interested, I just hope school and work won't cut down on my play time. :/

That's what I'm hoping to do is lay the path for the future. I would like to be able to hand the club over to someone when I graduate and let them continue to keep the club going.

So, once this fall semester starts I will know more about the financing. We have to wait for a couple weeks before we can request the actual funding. Once that is done and taken care of I will post more about it. As of right now it's just a waiting game.

The funding won't be complete until the first couple weeks in September is what they told me.

I started a paintball club at the University of Utah a few years ago called University United Paintball. We'd play every week either addicts, uxp, or the retribution woodsball field in Bountiful. Most the members graduated and it quickly died.

I'd be totally interested in another paintball club.

The financial side of things won't be complete until the 2nd or 3rd week of October where they will let us know how much money they are allowing for us to spend. As for now I will keep you posted.
