Luxe Acting Weird

Hey guys, just some questions. Today i was playing some paintball with my Luxe, I just bought used. The day i got it, i had a slight leak down the Barrel. But after some quick Lube of the Bolt it was fixed. So i adjusted the Dwell a little bit to what other people had set their luxes to, When i went to Chrono it was just Puffing. So i put the Dwell back to what i had it at originally. It fire but had a little bit First Shot Drop off, So about an hour into playing i noticed the First Shot drop off was getting worse. Eventually while in the middle of playing it just started Puffing, So i went off the Field and Turned it all back to the Stock Settings. It was good for a little bit but it started puffing again, Then i took the Bold Lubed it up and it stopped puffing, but the leak came back from down the barrel....Any suggestions?

luxe is very picky on o-rings. Buna o-rings are not preferable, and you should check to make sure that there are urethane ones in. Lube lightly and often, and run your fsdo setting above 10 ms. Unsprung luxes, at least a sizeable fraction of them, have fsdo problems. Some do, some dont. Just the way the gravy boat floats.

Aside from that if unsprung make sure you dwell is at 12, higher if playing in cold weather. You may want to lube your reg if it hasnt been done in a while also. Also make sure your feathertouch screw is out (if you have the FT manifold), the thing causes more problems than it's worth. And start the manifold screw at flush. That is a nice baseline. Once you have cleaned it and got it up and running, you have a nice baseline from there to tune at your leisure.

Hope this helped.
Alternatively, i highly recommend a polish and spring job by pooty. Brings a luxe back to life!

The fact that using bunas are actually better than using urethanes. Match them up. Keep your FSDO BELOW 10 if you want better efficiency. Take out your feathertouch and you should be functioning. Always keep your luxe out of the cold when not in use

umm...so basically everything i said? lol repeat after me...crack is wack...crack is wack.

also it is probably a typo on your part but urethane are better is what i said

"The fact that using bunas are actually better than using urethanes...."
didnt say that. I said buna is not optimal.

Everything else you said is verbatim what i said, ft out? check. Cold weather sux? check.

hit up rehab and try not to fall off the wagon again snow white.

oh and on the fsdo thing... better efficiency? are you kidding me. Most fsdo timings are 1min. Which means you only get the extra dwell after the gun being idle for that time. How many times in a paintball game have you gone a minute without firing a single shot?????? even with more aggressive fsdo timings, lets say 30s. That is still only a handful of fsdo shots per game. Thats what...maybe 5 extra balls of efficiency over the course of a point? You are wack and the worse part about it is that you are spreading your misinformation and wackiness...

in conclusion, kids, this is why you should say no to drugs
sheesh
