Dwell setting

Is it always better to have the lowest dwell setting to get better gas efficiency? Or does anyone have a good setting on a geo that gives them like 7 pods pluse a full hopper?

Running a higher pressure / lower dwell normally helps with efficiency. That is how both of my Geos were set up and how my next one will be set up.

I Put the VVC in all the way and put my dwell at 9 or so. Running a Ninja Tank w/ 500 out put (little better efficiency), using a 685 shaft 3 barrel. I also use normally Hater V2 or Eclipse Grease depending on the weather.

Hope that helps bud.

It depends on the paint / weather / lube / tank output / pressures...When I have my typical setup in the winter or fall, I can normally get a hopper and 7.5 on a hot 4000 fill.

But, I've gotten a good jump with the GST kit, same settings in the summer putting about 9 pods down before stuttering.

Keep in mind, not much of this really contributes to your play. If you don't have air after a game, then refill. It's a bit unrealistic to go out and lay 9 pods unless you're a back player and like to shoot that much.

The GST kit was never intended to boost efficiency as it was to reduce kick and a softer 'touch' as the bolt is slowed down. Some people experience more efficiency once it's been installed, including myself, however it is not a huge jump in efficiency.
