I played last Sunday in Mansfield, Tx. It was in the upper 80's to lower 90's and pretty humid... The "blow test" resulted in a sizing of .682 for marballizer. According to the pretty extensive testing of PunkWorks you can see that the greatest efficiency and consistency gains should be either one step over-bore or one step under-bore... So, for my instance I went with a .679 (if it was cold I would have gone to .685) and after sweet spotting my reg (details below) I was +/- 3. I have found that paint is decent but is definitely getting smaller and is causing what use to be an under-bore barrel to be a properly sized barrel and therefore causes the inconsistency. This may not be the case in your instance but its worth checking out if you have any smaller bore barrels you can play a game with your .682 then switch to a .679 and re-chrono and see if you perceive a difference.
I have always tried to get a good paint to barrel match in the past but now I see the light I just recently went to the one under/over method and have seen a pretty good increase in FPS consistency over the chrono.
Ninja standard reg (600ish psi)
LP between 50 and 55 (gauges on the tester are kind of crap)
Avg 279 FPS +/- 3 (field limit was 280)
