It's a limited run Generation 3 (also called the alias generation) intimidator though they're more uncommon at best, not rare at all. It was part of the warped sportz 'dark' line where they would do some PL milling.
They came with some Warped Grips, function bolt and trigger, and forget which frenzy it was. That's when they were new.
Other then the grips, bolt, and trigger though it was an intimidator through and through. Lots of upgrades and parts are available for them and it pretty much came down to if you liked the milling or not at the end of the day.

It only takes one...

I think that the poster meant to add a "." or a "," after the 175-200. He gave a rough value for how much you could pay for one, and then mentioned that it shoots much like any other Generation 3 Intimidator.

He's missing a period to separate his sentences.
Timmys are really easy to work on and are work horses. Just check out the Intimidator forum and read through the stickies. Trouble shooting is a breeze too once you get comfortable with the marker. A dragon timmy was my first high end and despite being very nervous with it at first with enough reading and practice you'll be able to take one apart and put it back together before you know it.

His poor grammar is misleading.
Its worth $175-200, and shoots like any other Alias is what he is saying.
Its as reliable as you make it, if you read the manual and maintained as said by the manual you will be fine.

As long as your firing modes are set properly and caps are set then yes, totally legally. May need a board flash but that would be the only thing holding you back.
If you shoot nothing but semi then you're fine as most are semi unlimited. If you play psp/ramping you would need to make sure you have the latest flash to go down to 10 bps.

Looking at your PS3 package you would actually be losing in that trade. Value of you package is far and easily more then the value of a Dark Timmy

Why would you trade a PS3 package for a paintball marker you know nothing about?

maybe he's an Xbox guy, who knows.
As far as being reliable, it all comes down to this:
is the marker working? clean and lube it and play, it will never let you down.
start messing with stuff, and it will.
read in the bob long threads about setting up the regs, very important, follow the directions and you will be good. I love timmy's and have never had one break at the field.

as long as you dont try to self tech without any knowledge and **** **** up, they shoot money. also very similar in design to an ego too. i had a dark timmy, shot like any other timmy. theyre older so a bit on the heavier side, but i do regret selling the gun though

Generally I've found the Dark private label to be superior to the stock guns by a lot. I have a dark shocker that is quieter and has less recoil, and is arguably more accurate than some of my friend's stock shockers. A bud of mine has a Dark G7 and it is much more accurate than any of stock G7 and even more dot on than A1s I've shot. So I almost always vote yes for WarpedSportz and Dark private label.

99% sure all the Dark whatever is is just different milling with a jewel on the gun somewhere. Either way, Timmys are great guns and I think you got a good deal.

Darks are NOTHING more then different milling. The internals and settings are exactly the same as the stock parts. Whatever "better" accuracy you think you are seeing is all in your head.
And yes...I've owned a Dark Timmy and I currently own a Dark Geo 2.

You are right. He is just one of "those". Probably believes those power balance bracelots work too

I did say arguably more accurate, which may be an issue of the barrel, which in both the cases I mention use a Lucky 15 barrel, which is definitely not the stock barrel. It also may be a matter that is in my mind, but luckily
The other things, like recoil and sound signature are definitely present, which is something witnesses would confirm.
Don't be such hateful players, I'm one of THOSE who plays paintball and enjoys sharing my opinions with others. You shoot two Dark products, and I guess you paid alot of extra money just for the gems and some milling or are you buying your power balance bracelet as well?
In any case, I don't care what you think about me, you don't know me, I'd be more interested in what you think about a gun.
