LUXE leak

Hey guys, i got a brand new luxe and it came from the company with a leak.
it is leaking out of the front right screw under the barrell. can i just take the screw out and treflon tape it?

Do not Teflon tape it. Get you some blue loctite and put 2 drops on the screw and screw it in even with the other. Let it dry a few hours and you will be one.

Its not reverse thread. Use some light oil on it and work it in and out. It will eventually come out.

tried the oil and whatnot, that mother****er is in there like ****! so ya, long story short, the screw striped, **** my life. ima go try and find an easy out to get it out, hopefully that works. not pleased with DLX.

At this point I would let DLX take care of it so that you don't mess it up anymore. Even when you do get it out you're going to need a new screw.

i got it out using an easy out no problem, i just needed the teeth of that and the power of a heavy duty drill, that maw****er was in tight. i did contact the company and they are sending me a parts kit, as well as a $175.00 discount.

Alot of times it's the Allen key that is rounded and not the setscrew itself. Always start with a ground flat Allen key before you attempt to remove a small screw. It has always made my life much easier.

i was using the ones that came in the box, i had a wicked dye set but got rid of em with my dm. im headin out to canadian tire now to get a good strong set
