CP shorty reg on Geo 1

I have a CP shorty reg i would like to use on my geo1. I am just wondering if i am able to use it with t damaging my marker. The reg has and output of between 100 psi and 500 psi and the manufacturer recomends using low pressure tank output for markers operating under 200psi.

Ok before any one says it i have installed the T piece in the reg fitting and it appears to locate correctly and on first test justs, by blowing down the reg it does seem to restrict flow correctly. I will test this further before paint goes in the marker to make sure there is no accidental discharge.

If I was looking to replace the stock S3 reg, I would look at getting an SL3 reg, not a CP reg.

My concern is that the output of the CP reg would not be limited in the way that the S3 reg is, and so if mis-adjusted, you could overpressurise the solenoid.
