I know power to weight. i race karts and my outlaw kart weighs 250lbs with me in it and has a briggs and straton animal motor making 40+hp at 10k rpm on alcohol.
there is your tinny mid engine car would not take much but i dont know anything about FWD cars like civics. I know my saab has 225hp and 260tq i think, at flywheel and will only hit about 140. |

last year i was racing my kart and when i came out of a conner doing about 50 according to my mychron, a kid spun in front of me and i hit him in the side and launched me out of my kart. That was one wild ride. and We both walked away.

About 120 in an 05 V6 Mustang. It wasn't fun. I was with some idiot customer on a test drive. Just glad I didn't die. Weren't even on the interstate. He did it down a 45mph city street.
