Question from Ninja Air to Luxe owners

Hey Luxe owners. We need some feedback. Some of you may have heard that we have created a tank regulator (Ninja SLP) built specifically for the Bob Long Victory and G6R. We are looking into other platforms now, including the Luxe.

We need some real world input from players using the Luxe. Could you please tell us what input pressure, from the tank, you guys would like to see? We need to see what the optimal output pressure is for you guys.

Thanks for any input you guys can give. We definitely appreciate the help.

A ninja with no shims works great. Honestly, the luxe isn't very picky about input pressure. A lower pressure does help put less pressure on seals though.

Definitely Agree!

I will be sending in a Crossfire 70/4500 Stubby soon to get Hydro'd and a Ninja Reg Installed Rob.....

I prefer your HP regs stock, just the way they are now.
You guys hooked me up with a Custom HP 1000psi or so for my Mag, and I am grateful for that as well!

What I'd love to see from Ninja right now is a 70/4500 STUBBY (Peanut) or whatever you want to call them. Crossfire's 70/4500 are going like hotcakes now and getting almost full MSRP for used ones, cause there isn't anyone making them, out of the 2 major players. (Crossfire and Ninja)
I just can't get enough shots outta my Luxe in Scenario Events, I need just that lil extra.

Thanks for all you do @ Ninja - your very appreciated!

I had a GA tank. When I got it, I put a Ninja reg on it because the Myth reg is pretty much paper weight. It is such a piece of garbage. This is awesome that Ninja is doing this. X2 Definitely one of the best regs out there.

It very well may be what the maxflow puts out but the gun works perfectly fine on lower pressure. Less pressure on the seals and orings always is a win win situation.

My question on LP though, is, "Is it able to do a steady, stable supply of air when ramping, or extremely fast shooting?" In my mind I would think it would have shoot down, or loss of pressure do to not being able to keep the supply at such a constant low level.

If anyone can give me any insight into this, I'd appreciate it. So I can learn Why you'd want low pressure. (Other than pressure on seals - cause those seals should only be on the reg of the gun, not the internal operating pressures past the reg. (right?)

I know on DMs they had that on the manuals. The manual and the techs recommended HP regs because you would have "gas starvation" at sustained hight rates of fire. I would imagine that the Luxe may be the same because it is, after all, a spool valve marker.

Ive never had an issue with shootdown or recharge rate on Ninja regs. You must also understand that there is enough air in the gun after you turn the air off to fire 2 sometimes 3 shots. This is used as buffer incase the reg cant recharge quite fast enough.

Yep - this is where I am drawing my conclusions from. My DM9. Although I've read it allot on not to run it (LP), but I never have tried it, so I don't know for sure on my own experience.

But yes Ragin, I do notice the 1 full shot, then maybe I get 2 slight sputters....
G3, Rev-i's, and my Ego10 all hold at least 1 full shot.

Yes, I do get one shot left over.

I have never experienced the drop off when I ran an LP tank on my DM8. But, I play front so I never had to shoot long sustained high rate of fire. Also, my Ego 09 vented the air out of the reg, I never had the left over shot. Kinda weird your Ego 10 did that.

i know alot of times LP on a dm would get shootdown because people would be using really thin macroline. thin as in the diameter of the opening was really smaller, which results in less air getting into the gun.
