I use my BCA 68/4500 and a spire. I'm getting a 77 tho. If your in the market for a new tank I'd go with the 77. Unless your a smaller person then the 77 might stretch the luxe out to much. Try them both if you can then decide.

I shoot a 77ci Ninja Dura with the standard reg. Will be moving to a 90ci SL once I can get my hands on one. I wouldn't get anything smaller than a 77 personally, a 77 gets about 8-9 pods and Spire260 for me.

I just got a 77/45 ninja with a pro SLP reg off ebay, it says that its an "HPA" tank, but I'll have to see when it gets here. Would I be able to use it anyway? Pretty sure if I need LPA I can just change the shims?

SLP prolly isn't a good idea. Luxe runs at 190ish PSI. It's a good idea to run your reg pressure double whatever your gun operates at. A good pressure would be 450-550psi.
SLP regs output only 300psi are NOT adjustable. There are no shims to add. Best bet is to pickup a regular Ninja reg, or fond someone to trade regs with

I've been using the Ninja 77ci with a Pro reg set at 550 psi output. However I got the new 90 SL bottle yesterday and I'm in love. It's nearly the same size as the 77, yet it's a few ounces lighter than a 68ci. I'm sure this new 90ci SL will be my new favorite tank after this weekend.

When I used SLP on my Luxe it was fine for 12.5 bps ramping if you ran the manifold screw almost flush and the dwell was high enough (16-18 ish). At higher rates of fire though you can definately get some occasional drop off (at least I did). Try it out though and see how it works because guns can vary some as well.

I run a custom products Low pressure regulator on it now though (all I have for now) and it seems to run just fine at any rof and has excellent consistency.

I recently acquired a luxe and haven't had issues using it with my SLP ninja tank. I'd have to double check but I think my dwell is at 16 and like Mr. Stealthy stated the manifold screw needs to be almost flush. With that said I might change it for my pro reg so I can get a slightly smoother shot.
