I just recently been reading through the threads and I ran across the luxe. I've never heard of it till now. If you guys could give me basic info on it, how good it is, is it a bigger gun, is it a tuner gun? Etc any info much appreciated. Thanks in advanced.

It's the Lamborghini of all paintball guns in my opinion.

I run with a mini gs and dp fusion fx currently. And obviously the luxe will probably blow my mind compared to those two. Lol. Any reason their name isn't huge like empire or planet eclipse?

They don't saturate the market with the same model different milling every 6 months.

Ah. It looks like a nice gun. Been doing a little research of my own. I've never really shot a spool valve before. And I'm pretty fond of the stacked tube poppets anyone shot both care to give opinions?

stack tube poppets will not compare to the shot quality of a good spool marker. however a marker like the LV1 or the 09 SP/ current JT impulse that are balanced valve poppets have a very smooth shot similar to a spool however they are not as quiet.

with the Luxe that has been around since 2007 they have done updates to the board, eyes, firing core and with the 2.0 OLED added a oled screen to the grip frame.

they are not as big as say Empire, because they produce one thing the LUXE, there are attempted copies of the LUXE out on the market however none IMO even come close to the quality in which the LUXE is made.

i have shot or owned about every gun on the market. the LUXE is one of the smoothest there is. i currently shoot one. if you like to sit in the back and shoot alot of paint, then this may not be your marker. i play back, but the LUXE i have is very accurate and good on efficiency. the LUXE is a very accurate marker and very smooth. in my opinion, this is not a marker you wanna keep "tinkering" with. set it up......blow off faces and make alot of haters on the field.... simple

this is just my opinion

Thanks for info and inputs. Currently me and my cousins are trying to get into tournament style play. But I wouldn't play back very often. I'd be a front player so I doubt I'd shoot much paint. Sometimes I like to switch it up and play back but if we go play rec ball its not that serious. I do like the looks and I've seen some videos. I may try to pick up a 1.5. Not sure how I feel about dishing out 1500 for a gun I've never held. What would y'all suggest? I'm a smaller guy 5'9" I've got pretty small hands at that.

Just buy a used one, buy some proper replacement orings and maybe a spare battery & replace the orings once it arrives

Ive seen 1.0/1.5's sell w/2,0 cores for $400-500 all day. I bought a non-working luxe for $380 and only had to replace all the orings & replace a board. Used boards go for $20-$40. Buying new is great but you can save a ton of cash and have the same shooter for way less.

I'm not sure if the luxe will "blow your mind" compared to a mini or fusion, but it is definitely better in a lot of ways. If you are set on buying one, I would definitely search this website for used ones in decent condition. If you aren't sure, then head to your local field on a Sunday and I guarantee there will be several people with luxes that are willing to let you try it out.
