All Things Proving Grounds Paintball.

Anybody see any other leagues we could play in? Things to consider are proximity for everyone to drive, entry fee cost, BYOP, 1-day or 2-day, prizes (entry to next event and series ending prize). Ideally we do not want prizes that we would have to sell. I don't think there are many of these left anyway. Cash or funds to be used towards the national events are best.

I realize there are detractors out there that say, "if you are in it for the prizes, you shouldn't play." How about the, "you should play because you play with people who love the game and make friends." That's a load of crap. Prizes are not the only reason I play, but certainly a big part of it. I have never had trouble meeting people at any event, local or national, even with the sole intention of beating everyone. My number one reason now is to win, each an every event, match, and point. People who come play for United, Rise, or Reflex come because they want to play winning paintball. We have all had an opportunity to play other kinds of paintball. There are rec games, practice, and big games we have played and can continue to play "for the love of the game." But, when it al boils down, tournament paintball is a game/sport/contest, and every game has a winner. And the winner gets the prize, be it bragging rights, trophies, the money. I'd rather be that person than anything else.

manny there is a new legitimate xball series starting in ohio and michigan 20 min halfs, 15 bps, 15 man rosters i believe. Although it isnt a psp feeder I think it would be great to play. Or the chi-town series. I would really like to focus on playing PSP honestly. Even if we dont play the Texas event the last 3 should be our priority.

MWXL looks legit Rise had been talking about it I'd rather go there then do a 8 hour drive.

D4 is race to 2 i think soo i say we stick to msxl this year for rise no point in moving when we know who we play

Also my dad called off all the MSXL dates
and you don't even wanna mess with momma amy their chris haha

Written by PSP Events News Jan 28, 2011 If your team competes in at least three PSP events in 2011, you could win the following Series Prize in your division!

Division 1 RaceTo-5: ½ off each 2012 entry for the Pro RaceTo-7 division.
Division 2 RaceTo-5: ½ off each 2012 entry for the D1 RaceTo-5 division.
Division 3 RaceTo-4: ½ off each 2012 entry for the D2 RaceTo-5 division.
Division 4 RaceTo-4: ½ off each 2012 entry for the D3 RaceTo-4 division.
Division 3 RaceTo-2: ½ off each 2012 entry for the D3 RaceTo-4 division.
Division 4 RaceTo-2: ½ off each 2012 entry for the D4 RaceTo-4 division.

If your team ends up with the most points in your division, you will be crowned 2011 PSP Series Champions and be awarded the title… as well as the prize! Your team must compete in at least three PSP 2011 events to be eligible.

I honestly would love to play in the MSXL this year, but playing the last 3 PSP events sounds better. Which sounds better, MSXL Champions or PSP Champions?

I suggest we go ahead and put United on the team list for D3 and see what happens. If Tapper is going to bump us up, that gives us plenty of time to figure out what we are going to do.

i concur..... i got my weeding sept 17 so i dont know how many psp events i would be able to attend,there is a event the month before and the month after, if they are super far away i migt not be able to go to them both, i dont think we will be able to play msxl d-3, open prizes suck so we should look into playing a different series
