That line in the water at the bottom left is the trail of a duck. Considering it was pitch black when the pic was taken it didn't turn out too bad.

Here's a quick pic of the reverse view from the top, you can see the pond in the mid left.


PS- I want to keep the C2, my heart is conflicted.

5 days out of the last 7 so far so I'd say, it's so commonplace to me I don't really bother looking up anymore, just leads to accidents

Just wanted to let you guys know that tomorrow night at 12:30 am EST the orionids meteor shower will peak It's suppose to be a good show so if any of you find yourself still awake tomorrow night take a walk outside to see this fantastic site. Of course I will be out there most of the night taking pictures and will share any good ones I get

My camera shutter died. It might end up costing more to fix than it would to get a new body. No meteor shower for me.

What kind of camera?

Nikon D2H. Supposedly rated for 150,000 shots. :/ Was only at 40,000 or so.

Nope. No warranty. And they have a pretty bad good-will policy. Even if something fails that they say won't, they won't cover it.

I would if it weren't for the investment in lenses. I also like the feel of Nikons. I can use both cameras, but I've personally always liked the ergonomics and the controls of Nikon bodies.

I've been borrowing my friend's Sony A380(?) DSLR to take all those photos some of you may have seen of those cars on my FB page. Absolutely fell in love with DSLR's in general. Definitely picking one up later this year. I want something high megapixel to keep me a little future proof. I've always been a sucker for Sony products, but we'll see. The higher end alpha models are awesome.

I wouldn't worry too much about megapixels Chuck. I shoot with a D50 that only has 6MP and I have never needed anymore than that. However I do need a new body for better iso :/ My limit is 1600 right now and I would really love some nice clean iso 4000 shots Hoping for the rumored nikon d400 to be out soon.
