Ok, need an update - is ios 4.01 good for the 3GS now? Or is it still a bunch of crap that slows it down too much?

okie doke - I'm think of growing a pair and updating my phone. Would you or anyone else recommend it? I know I'll lose everything I've added since jailbreaking, but can we jailbreak 4.01?

cause i got it for $22 lol. and i was planning on using it as a party phone so that way if it got broken or i lost it or something happened to it i wouldn't really care and it is still cooler than having a gay old flip phone or something of that matter

jailbroke my ipod touch. worked fine. got apps from installous. worked fine. synced in itunes. worked fine. now whenever i get apps from installous and go to sync in itunes, it removes the apps. why?
