True, it will, but why leave the gas in the gun for longer than it has to be. In my opinion, you're smarter to play it safe and clear all the gas out.

That'll do the trick! Just make sure your gun has a dovetail or that you are using a rail if you have a direct mount. CP also makes a direct mount if you dont want a rail. With the CP you'll be able to leave your tank on (turned off of course) too! Just fire a shot or two after turning it off.

yea, ive got a dove tail. i retardedly went and got the mini version because it was a LOT lighter. i didnt even take length into consideration. going back today to exchange it for the longer one.

Yeah, kind of a stupid question, I think all Matrix's have a dovetail.. haha. Nice. The mini didn't fit? I almost got one a couple weeks ago. Glad I didn't! ha

the reason i went with the mini is because it is SIGNIFICANTLY lighter than the other one. but if i place it all the way forward so the release knob is accessable, the tank wont screw in because the back end of the grip is sticking out. if i slide it all the way back so the tank will screw in, then the release valve isnt accessable. now i just cant wait to get off of work so i can exchange my part!

Haha. Yeah, that's a killer. You could always get a CP rail and keep the mini.. Would be more expensive, but it's an idea..

i thought about that, but then its more money and more weight. defeats the purpose of buying a lighter mini asa.

Most rails are pretty light. At least my Hybrid rail was really light, but yeah. Definitely more money.

Anodizing is just a paintjob esentially. Except, instead of using paint, they use an acid I believe that bonds to the aluminum of the gun. Doesn't chip as easy as paint.

CP was definitely the better buy I really only like there on/off's and flow plugs though.. Just me.. ha

yea, my buddy wants me to get a CP reg since the gun's previous owner put some nice scratches in this one. he tried to remove it with a set of pliers and marked it up, clearly visible in the photo i posted. but it still shoots nice and true. i think ill stick with this one til i actually need a new one.

That sucks. Why on earth would someone use pliers to remove a reg. That seems like a horrible idea.. haha. I don't like the looks of the CP regs. Just my personal preference. So far I've been happy with the Hyper2 on my old PM and now my DM6!

the guy that owned this before me wasnt too bright. i could tell by what he sold me and what he charged for it.

the CP regs do look a little nasty. i can deal with some tool marks on my gun, it doesnt affect the shooting or anything else, juts aesthetics, nothing too major.

Haha. Sorry, I haven't checked this in a while. Yeah, agreed on the nasty. ha. Gotta love people that are a little out there.. I had a guy sell me a perfect, working PM6 and $150 for my Ion that was upgraded. Hahaha. He didn't like Proto/DM. Oh well, his loss. haha

Truthfully you should hold onto that little plug.......They have been out of production for a while and are getting rarer.....i sold mine over a year ago for 60bucks(thats what the guy offered me) now i kind of regret selling it.

I agree. Hang on to it. I had to buy new DM6 eye covers.. Couldn't find them anywhere. I was told I bought the last set off Dye.. For $31. :/
