For all you freeriders out there, what does your truck set up look like?
I'm using some Munkae Stealths at the moment with some mid-duro bushings and I'm not liking it that much. I want to see what other people are riding just to grasp some sort of idea of combinations on out there, I guess.
I run 50* randals with super soft bushings. Currently they have 80a reflex half barrel half eliminator things (not a shape made anymore) boardside, 86a SHR venoms roadside.
I have to run cupped washers on the SHR's to keep from biting, but it's way fun. I could get a pic of the reflex thane bushings if you want so it's not so ambiguous.

What speeds are you freeriding at? Stealths are based off of precision munkaes which are definitely not a freeride truck. I'd recommend grabbing some paris, gunmetal, or calibers with 90a venom barrels all around
Some great brands to look into for downhill or freeride style boards would be bombsquad longboarding or earthwing skates. They both produce high quality boards that won't break the bank.
More specifically though, did you have anything in mind? Do you have any friends who ride that you admire their board? Many things about a longboard deck are personal preference and can by customized by the other components.
Edit: just uploaded a video from ski patrol refreshers today. I thought it was a fun change of pace from the normal stream of videos
I also haven't gotten out to skate as much as hoped for with school back in session. I have successfully put together my overnight pack for this winter in the backcountry though.
I'm trying to get a few friends to commit to a week long backcountry snowboarding trip post graduation this winter and just disappear for a few days. Could be epic
i havent been able to skate as much because of school, but i'm still getting out at least 2-3 days a week thankfully. friday & sat are set aside for shred
I finally got to skate today. Got some speedboarding in before it started raining on us, so we finished with messing around. Here's some footage from the messing around part.
