Apparently the main garage people skate at is blown out beyond belief now. Cops showed last night and said that they'd be patrolling every night and they're installing speed bumps. Anybody in Houston, don't skate at Edward's.

What's the worst that could happen if you get caught?? A fine?

They threatened to slap anyone caught skating with a criminal trespassing charge. Even if it was just a fine, I'd rather spend the cheddar on more stuff to skate with.

that sucks.
Around here I stick to parking garages on campus because they just tell you to leave if you get caught. I wouldn't put it past the downtown garages giving out trespassing charges around here either though.
here's one i still have a scab from like a month later. it must be spikey on the inside cuz when i smack my hand on things it hurts like hell.
the school nurse asked if i wanted stiches but i chose to band aid it. its deep, and gushed blood instantly. it was awesome! haha
Nice. I've used cutting board before but it wears out way too fast imo.
Now I make my pucks with UHMW polyurethane and they last way way longer.
Merce: If you don't have a jigsaw you can get by with a basic hacksaw and sand paper. Thats what I've always used to shape pucks, it just takes longer.
Well I'll definitely have to give this a try then. Where can UHMW polyurethane be found and for how much on average? I've also read an article recently where the guy used samples of corian tiles from a hardware store, any thoughts/opinions on how well this would work?
I use www.mcmaster.com for raw materials like UHMW (ultra high molecular weight) polyurethane and also for paintball o-rings. You just need to know specifics on the material you want. I don't remember the exact price but I think I got a 12''x12''x1/2'' sheet of uhmw for $30 or $35 after shipping.
My friend actually uses corian square samples from a hardware store and he really like them as well. They are cheaper to get than uhmw for sure.
