Nissan would win, yes, but an Eclipse can hold it's own against a wide variety of cars out there, provided you have the right parts, and the proper tuning of said parts.
My car is fast; what's in it right now has been professionally installed and tuned by a mechanic, who I happen to be extremely good friends with. He's helping me upgrade, and tune every aspect of my car, so that it reaches it's maximum capability. Will it be faster than every car out there? No. Will it be faster than most cars out there? Maybe. All that I know, is that it's a beautiful car now, internally (performance), and externally (cosmetically), and it will be so much better once I'm done dumping hard-earned money into it.

Hahha my love is I cars and my Gpa and dad and me has put are soul into this blitz R33 that my Gpa holds on too and then I get it. And it's hks and nismo parts. Mostly hks cuz there the best it's the drifting monster

A buddy of mine had an STI...until he blew the engine because he thought he was boss, but couldn't shift worth a ****; he's going 110 down the a back-road, and he's in 4th; nothing wrong there. The RPM's start to get high, so he goes to put it into 5th, speed shifts, lets the clutch out too early, gets flustered, and hits it into 1st gear...at 110 MPH. BAM! Done.
