Check the solenoid and make sure it is sealing all the way with the body. Also check the orings on the outside of the bolt as well as the bolt stem oring,

Hey,

My suggestion would be to take off the grip frame. After removing the grip frame, air up the marker. The leak can be coming from one or two places in that area. (The Bolt or Solenoid) Most likely if an oring is bad on the bolt the leak would be going down the barrel not through the grip frame. As drei-eins said make sure to check all the orings. Also you might want to check the output pressure on the reg. I know you just bought the marker but the reg could be the problem in this case. If you do not have a tester you might want to swap it out for a different reg to see if the leak still persists.( The gen3 Cp reg has had some problems like this I highly recommend switching it out to see if that fixes it)

If you need more assistance feel free to Pm me. I am more than willing to help you out and get this problem resolved.

Thanks

Chris

I am a CP Dealer. Regs isn't the issue.

I lubed the rear most can o ring and it's good.

Checked the manual for oring sizes and was confused.. are they metric or standard sizes?

Thanks for the help!

Do you have the model number? Or even better, if they're compatible with the Cromes?

200 or so of them are the Mac 33's. The are BARBED, not the ones that take a manifold. However, I have seen them drilled and plugged for manifold use.. Beats paying $100, tbh.

The others are mac 43's. Larger solenoids, barbed, but same story.

Before I sell my crome, I will take a look and see if I can make a few up for the crome guys

That'd be cool, and much appreciated... But I have to ask, why in the heck do you have 1100 solenoids?

Hey,

I am pretty sure they are not compatible but I am not 100% sure. I know the Mac 33 that they use is specially made for Regency. Keep me updated on how it turns out though.

I see that you edited the post. I wonder what the unedited one said.

Anyhow, that's what PE said about the mac 43's and egos. They're just pissed cause I can sell a solenoid that is actually better then theirs for $20 instead of the rip off of $150.

I'm sure the crome can be tapped as well. I just need to open it up and look at the model #'s.
