Moved up to .11s with my RG and tuned her to C. Finally inspired to play this damn thing. Love it. Gonna put .11s on my strat next time I hit up a shop to buy stuff.

I love .11's. I have Power Slinkies on my hollowbody. When I got to practice and hit the first clean chord through my Delta Blues everyone turned around to see what the sound was lol. With the GFS Crunchy Pat I installed in the bridge it's insanely chimey and tone full.

Lucky bastard. Hopefully seeing Primus here soon. Had to skip out on Buckethead tickets since I'm poor, but I'm totally not missing Claypool.

Primus sucks, but I would definitely take Buckethead over them. Then again, I spend most of my guitar playing time learning and covering Buckethead songs. Man, I need to work on the speed of my picking hand, I rely 90% on my left hand for speed.

The tele is fantastic, though the neck could be slightly better tbh.
Working on getting another piece done to show you guys. Just need to record a few more sections. I think something my writing lacks is good transitions, everything is choppy and doesn't really mesh too well together.

Ernie Ball cobalts are pretty sweet, but they're expensive. You're not going to like this, Treghc, but I think they sound just as good DR Pure Blues and feel better out of the package. Kind of wish I had bought either the 11-54s or 12-56, these are 11-48 and feel lighter than they actually are. I have a feeling these will wear out relatively fast though, my favorite thing about those Pure Blues is how long they last before the tone dies.

We're pretty much playing gypsy music now.
