Saw SOAD a while back because TMV was opening for them. TMV played 3 songs in an hour-long set and the guitar-vocal battle was the best part of the whole concert. SOAD was surprisingly very, very good live. I don't like much of their music other than their first couple of albums, which they seemed to shy away from. But when they played the songs I like, I loved it. Serj can ****ing belt it. He's got an amazing voice.
Best show I've been to was the A Perfect Circle show with The Mars Volta opening a number of years back. My first time seeing TMV and the first time I was ever introduced to them. APC was spot-on for the entire show and the closing with "Gravity" sent chills down my back for the entire 6:00 it went on. That concert literally changed my life (I got to discover TMV)

Best show I ever saw was Floyd. Nothing else even comes close.
If I ever saw them live, I would definitely agree.
Vocals get recorded tomorrow. I is supers excited. Been learning Celemony Melodyne in the meantime. Can't wait to get a half-decent demo down finally. Also might squeeze in a cover of "Street Spirit" if time permits.

Yeah I'm awful with a 5 string. Albeit, I never really sat down and tried to learn one, but it's just too different for me to catch on immediately. You have to change your entire picking structure.

Yeah, it's a very backwards-feeling thing if you're used to guitar.
Every time I play it I just pick up a guitar instead lol
Just wanted to share a home recording/mixing project I did a couple days ago. It is to a song of ours that vocals will be coming to rather shortly. Let me know how the instrumental came out though.
