I can never use a mic. In the words of the late Marc Twain:
"Do not argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience."

I fixed a computer today. Installed Linux Ubuntu on the desktop cause it crapped out a while ago. I hate Vista. Now I just need to buy a hard drive for my old laptop so I can install Ubuntu on that as well.

Looks like I might be getting another project. I asked my Auto teacher what he was going to be doing with the straight six in the panel van we/ he are restoring, and he said he was going to scrap it. So I asked him if I could have it, to get some hands on experience and he agreed! Im getting the 4 speed transmission as well. So now I have to buy an engine stand so I can put it someplace in my garage once it gets pulled from the body.

That could be fun. I had fun getting deep into engines that I knew didn't need to go back together correctly.

32 hours without sleep.
My peripheral vision is non-existent. My focus is gone. This is awesome.
I finished writing a 40-page accident report in two days.
I hate this school.
Another project and major test tomorrow.

I tore apart a Chrysler v8 out of a minivan last year but it was the schools test engine so it was missing stuff and everything else. Im gonna baby the hell out of my engine though, I want to use it. I just need an engine stand and it could be mine as soon as next week. Once the body is off the panel van (which is literally like 6 bolts) its a few more to get the engine and transmission out and then they are mine.

I got a reply to my ad on Craigslist for a stand. Some guy like 10 miles from me said he has an almost new one for $40.
Problem is is he didnt include its load rating or its brand name. Im hoping he will reply to my eMail so I wont have to call.

Get the stand figured out? I had a hoist and stand before I moved and kept the hoist but it's just rusting at my parents house now since I sold the car I planned on yanking the motor out of.
My out of production ball detents finally came in from Taiwan yesterday so the MG7 could hold balls if I had place to get an air fill or had a hand pump to borrow. I wish the wife would let me spend the 300 on the pump I'll eventually for my air rifles.

Yup, I picked it up today. Was exactly what I needed.
I wish I could afford a crane. Things are expensive. Would help with my lawn tractor modifications too.

I got mine on discount when I worked at AutoZone and it paid for itself after I loaned it out a few times.
Talked to my acquaintance with the covered field a little bit and he said it will be rentals, co2 and field paint only because of the only insurance plan he could get. I guess you can book parties but it seems a little silly to me.

I dont see a problem if he were to rent A5s.
Almost done cleaning the garage. I really need a forced air heater and a clock. And more lights.

He isn't sure what he's getting yet because he's taking a tech class in a week or two. I'd go for the new GOG rentals but the flip top tippmanns may be what is more affordable as a package.

Well, sold enough stuff on eBay to pay off my engine stand. Ordered a JEGS workbench mat. Welder is coming Thursday, hard drive for the workshop laptop sometime this week. Engine and transmission should be in my garage on Tuesday night. And the garage is clean. Good stuff.

What got sold? Anything good?
Got another insulting offer on my MG7 for sale. How can this thing be worth less than a spyder on the shelf at WalMart?
