With the trigger pivot point being right above the trigger I worry that its going to hurt what looks like a good design

no, when the mini came out SP sued them for it. SP had a patent on it because they were working on the luxe. KEE had to pay royalties to SP for the mini

If this is in the same price bracket as the slg, it should sell well. It appears to be a sear tripper, like the slg. But it appears to have a more complex bolt system, an on off, no macroline, and lighter. Looks promising for the lower price bracket of 250-400.

Glad to know this kind of open hate is condoned on an international forum. Your post greatly contributed to this thread and made people from NC look intelligent and worldly.
THAT SAID......
I'm glad to see the mokal guy is back at it again. My first paintball experience was with a mokal focus blowback around 2000. His spyder clones were of very high quality back then, hopefully this new gun is no different.

Unfortunately you can never rid the world of such racism or prejudice people. However, I care not where the marker is made but how it performs. People make fun of me because I shoot a gun made in britain (geo2). So, if canadians make the lightest smoothest most efficient and most accurate gun, they can expect my buisness.

Apparently there's no such thing as sarcasm in Canada either...
Gun looks nice. Can't wait to see a price point and some shooting videos.

I think those hosers were just joking around there, eh? Plenty of tomfoolery comes our way from the north, but we still have a sense of humor aboot it, don'tcha know.
You know, maybe I just didn't go far enough north but I don't remember seeing any igloos last time I was up in Canuckistan. Plenty of waterfalls and all kinds of hotties, but no igloos.
Anywho, back on topic.
Someone mentioned it being a seartripper, but remember a clapper noid doesn't mean there's a sear. It appears to be a clapper valve similar to the Wrath. They use a lot of power just like any other clapper noid, but they're rock solid and damn near impossible to destroy.
Looks to be very Ion-esque in bolt function, I'm interested to see some specs on it, perhaps a schematic. If it's in the $200 range, no doubt it could be an option as an entry-level marker. There's gonna be a lot of people disregarding this gun as yet another piece of **** failure, but remember, guns like this are targeting the true beginner market, much in the way the Ion or that spoolie that WGP sold for a while. In no way is this meant to compete with the Dye or Eclipse lines, that much should be painfully obvious. Keep that in mind when forming opinions.

Assume so as it's written in the grips, so unlikely that will change. Strange move though, going to create some confusion (and already has in this thread...) calling two completely different markers by the same company the same name.

It's happened before, just look at the Shocker. Same name, two different guns.
