its a little funny looking and the grips really turn me off, but i cant shake the feeling that this gun has the potential to be the next super popular budget electro. kind of like an "ion" for 2010/11 so to speak

Trigger frame and milling kill it.

Looks interesting though. Most likely grossly overpriced.

:edit: the ovular peice on the side looks likes it comes off, perhaps an acrillic insert will be available wth it?

I read up on this gun a bit. Unfortunately, Mokal has given this new gun the same name as his old blow back, the Aura.

As seen in this pic, the grip frame is jammed full of components. On/off purge asa on the bottom, the regulator above that within the frame, then the battery housing, with the noid above that. The only thing in the front grip is a small board with a huge capacitor, lol.

Weighs only 1.6 pounds.

There's not a chance in hell this is sub 200.

Its an impressive little piece of engineering. Saving costs with a clapper noid, but keeping the higher-end features like macro-less design and in-grip regulator. Drivetrain looks simple enough, it'll be very interesting to see how well it shoots. Impossible to tell by looking at it.

Why? All of Eclipse's markers are based off the design of another marker.

My thoughts exactly. I love the idea of the use of a clapper style solenoid setup they use. The Wrath used similar solenoids and they could take a lot of abuse and were cheap compared to standard solenoids to replace because you had two sections to replace.

I am very interested in the specs and price of this marker. I think it has a lot of potential.
