I just baught a 2005 sft shocker, and the owner befor me says it has a cricket board , I was wondering is that anygood for the shocker?

Just another name for a stock board. You just need to find out iff it has eyes or iff its "blind". Iff I remember correct the first SFTs you actually had to pay more to get them with vision. I really don't know when having vision became a standard feature.

Yep, it's just a nickname for a board that 'chirps' when you make an adjustment. It's really more relevant to the old Impulse, as the early stock boards didn't chirp, while newer ones did. With the Shocker on the other hand, irrespective of the age and type of board, be it blind semi, vision board or Nerve board, they all chirp.
