Just sit back with your teammates shoot a lot and communicate.. Don't move up until you get a G or see a really good move. Just hold it downnnnnnn.

Ya hold it down til you get a g just make sure your boys capatilize on it fast make the move but dont be stupid and make a run through as soon as you get that first guy out. Crossing it up is also a good strategy in threes.

One tactic that gave me a lot of success in 3 man was a 3 man lane off the horn. Most teams will do a corner/center/corner break out, so figure out which corner is farthest from the start box and have all 3 players lane the crap out of it. Pretty much a sure thing to get that first guy out, and now you're up 1 man on the other team.

DON'T STOP MOVING AND SHOOTING. Caps for truth. Seriously in a 3v3, if you're not being shot at or you have your mirror pinned or whatever, that means 2 guns are on a teammate somewhere. That means you can move. Don't haul *** and make a crazy move, though. Keep you're gun up and your mirror pinned and bump out to pinch or up if you're on the tape ONE BUNKER AT A TIME. One teammate should always be bumping like this. If the enemy doesn't have 2 guns on a teammate, that means everyone is in a one on one. Gain control over your mirror by whatever means (snapping over the top, both sides, high, low, whatever). Get him in and keep him in and bump! Once its down to a 3 on 2, ONE GUY IS ALWAYS NOT BEING SHOT AT! What should be be doing? Bump! Its that easy. This style helped my team to quick victories. We only lost one 3 man tourney out of about 7 in my 3 man days. Guns up, legs active. Ez.

Like Goon said the most important thing is to communicate and shoot the lanes.
