Weather's coolin' down and October is almost upon us. What better time to reflect on another amazing festival season come and gone?
Where'd you go? How was it? Who'd you see? Overall rating?
I'll start...
Bisco Inferno - Red Rocks Amphitheatre
Disco Biscuits headlining the amazing Red Rocks, with support from Booka Shade, Glitch Mob, Aeroplane, and more. 9.5/10. Colorado is the ****in tittttyballs.
Wakarusa - Ozark, AK
Hot as ****. WSP, moe., Biscuits, STS9, Umphs, TLG, OTT, Bluetech, just to name a few. Hot as ****. Lineup and music was 9.5/10 but between the heat and the distance from DC, I don't know if I can handle it next year.
Nateva - Oxford, ME
Awesome festival. Futher, Flaming Lips, moe., Passion Pit, STS9, Umphs, Lotus, Ghostland Observatory, THE MUTHA****IN MCLOVINS! lol... perfect weather and amazing festival vibe. It had the production, vendors, and aritsts of a huge festival, with a small festival atmosphere. Will definitely return.
Camp Bisco - Mariaville, NY
My favorite 3 days of the year. 6 (5 due to weather) sets of my favorite band. Rusko, Aeroplane, Big G, Papadosio, Holy ****, LCD, Thievery, Girltalk, Bassnectar, Pretty Lights. 10/10. Incredible weekend.

Camp Bisco in Pictures
Elysian Fields Festival - Boyce, VA
Fun little bluegrass festival my buddy throws on his friends farm in VA. More like big party with camping and music, but there are vendors and a legit stage. About 650-700 people this year. Keller, The Keels, and Toubab headlined. Awesome time. 8/10
Muddy River Jam Festival - ****hole, NJ
Tiny third-tier electronic jamband/dj festival. Horrible. Terrible sound. Too many stages, too few people, poor vendors, just poor execution. It was all for charity though so that's cool fwiw. 5/10 will not go again.
Camp Barefoot - Middle of Nowhere, WV
Amazing little festival. Small festivals are something else. Particle, PAPADOSIO!, Conspirator, Breakfast, Big Gigantic... tons of amazing bluegrass and rootsy jam bands. 10/10 will definitely be back
Let's hear it. Definitely wanna hear about some other genres. Anyone catch Tila at Gathering of the Juggalos?
