Cassel is fine. He played pretty well in New England when Brady got injured. The offensive line is the problem. I'd be willing to wager that no quarterback would look good behind that mess.

How is Cassel fine? He is absolute garbage who can't complete anything down field to save his life. The only starting QB in the league worse at driving the ball downfield is Trent Edwards

You mean the team that went undefeated in the regular season the previous year? The team Brady threw 50 TD's with? The one with Moss and Welker split out wide and an incredible O-Line? With one of the best head coaches on the sideline?
Yeah, Cassels talent was definitely the reason he succeeded in that situation.

Probably because he's always scrambling for his life since the offensive line folds over instantly.
He produced pretty good numbers in New England in 2008 when Brady was out for the season. He got ~3700 yds, 21 touchdowns, 11 interceptions 327 completions of 516 (63.4%) and a 108 passer rating. He was the #8 QB that season.
No quarterback would look good behind Kansas City's offensive line.
I'm not saying he's a great quarterback or anything, but he's not nearly as bad as you guys are making him out to be.

Even when he's not pressured he can't find anyone downfield and can't hit stick patterns with any velocity

I'm not trying to say he's on the same level as manning, brady, or brees, but he's a decent QB. he's not the sole reason the chiefs were terrible last season. Outside of the elite quarterbacks, anyone else would perform poorly at KC as well.

Not that I agree with blaming losses on the weather, but this argument is flawed. That's something the north did as part of strategy though. Rain is a variable independent of both teams.

Freeman's actually not bad, and he's progressed fairly well. He might be injured though, not sure.
Also don't forget Shaun Hill is starting for Detroit this week, and Delhomme has the job in Cleveland

Also, if you've never been inside the Superdome... ask Tom Brady and Brett Favre about how loud that place gets.

Tom Brady is a fan of playing in the Superdome. He did win two superbowls there.

He wasnt very happy to go into the Superdome to play against the Saints... he had a custom helmet made to dampen the noise for their game last season against the Saints. Favre and co. were less subtle with their purple earplugs. It is also well documented what some teams do to try to prepare for the noise, including blaring music at 140+db when they practice.
Arrowhead though is easily the loudest outdoor stadium.

Thats why rather than make dumb unsubstantiated claim, i just point out the stat that since its creation qwest field has led the league in away team offensive false starts.

And the Seahawks have routinely been a "we're almost good enough" team with the exception of 1 year.
Anyway, KC's MVP...

Ronald McDonald is the mascot for the McDonalds restaurant chain. You must have him confused with somebody else, because he doesn't even play football.
