another question about the maxflows

Ok so I'm looking to put a maxflow reg on my tank. No the new micro maxflows, the old bulky ones. I've realized that there are different styles. I can best describe them as having 2 "blocks" (the really big one) and another 1 "block". I'm looking for the name as the one block style. Or if you are selling one please pm or post here! I'm very interested. If you could also recomend a sight to search for one that would help so much. There is also the conquests that look similar. Would that be better? I've been told they have preassure spikes. Please help. Thanks

i believe what your trying to describe is as manifold maxflow http://www.pbreview.com/productpics/...e&product=1933 if thats it then i think back in the day the conquests were a hair better and being that sp is gone and the reg your talking about was 3 generations old in their product line i really doubt you will be able to get rebuild kits or any kind of support so i would say the smart money would be to go with the conquest.

Conquests need to use a cradle from what I remember because of the size and weight. And not many places at all sell cradles.
That and I do not think there are rebuild kits available anymore for conquests, where as you can at least buy another maxflo and cannibalize it. Conquests are much harder to find.
