I got halfway through. It wasn't much of an interest spark. I agree with some of the comments, the old is a lot better. I own Minutes to Midnight and it's okay, but not as good as their earlier albums.

It sounds like a really bad attempt at trying to make it EDM. It sounds really hardstyle-ish.

I just downloaded a thousand suns and it was garbage half of the songs were less than 2 minutes with no lyrics and the rest were horrible. 
It was 10x worse than minutes to midnight at least i listen to a few of those. |

This entire album sounds so generic. It's like they didn't even try. With all their side projects they have (seriously, how many side projects does the Asian guy have at this point? He's been in like 10 different bands), I don't think they care much about Linkin Park anymore. They already made their fame and money, they don't need to work any harder because they know their die-hard fans will buy their **** anyway.

I found the new album to be pretty good. Maybe not as good as their old music from Hybrid Theory, but it's still really good in my opinion.
