WCPPL make it to Nevada

Good to see West Coast in the name but will this make it to more states come next 2011? Get this to be a true West Coast Event and bring it to Reno/Las Vegas as well.

Well the way to get it going is to get the two sides to talk, like local fields and the field owners. If RPL and NPPL can make it to Vegas/Reno then sure it could happen to add the legs here.

Because the WCPPL is based in SoCal, it's hard to transport everything elsewhere.
I personally would also like to see the league incorporate other states, but it also includes out of state fields helping out and offering.

if wcppl can't afford to make it to northern california, theres no way it would be possible to expand that far, at least not by 2011 .

i think it was more of a they wouldnt make money going to norcal.

A Vegas event would be good. And i think Vegas would/could draw a good turnout. But only if the event is before the first of June or after mid October! All the summer months are way TOO HOT!

For the last time...

It's wasn't about being able to afford the trip to NorCal nor would it be about Vegas, if that was in the plans. So please cease and desist on making implications or assumptions about the status of the league or rationale for the cancellation that are just down right false. There were other factors that played into the decision that was made, which has been stated from the onset. We don't have to lie to kick it. Believe me, we are fully aware and empathize with folks who were hurt and adversely effected by what happened. Our sincerest apologies are extended and it is our hope that this unfortunate incident does not tarnish our standing.

dude why are you getting so defensive, they could not afford to make the trip to norcal because they wouldn't profit enough to make the trip worth it = they could not afford to do it .

because it its a false statement. they could afford the trip, but would lose money on the event. different that not being able to afford the trip.

Kids...it had something to do with the field...CEPP.
So lets use our brains and figure it out. I know from a very reliable source what the reason was. Be smart and use your heads for something else besides sex.

A wcppl vegas would be cool, i think So Cal teams would have more incentive to go to vegas than nor cal. ( no offense nor calians)

I think any big venue event outside of Cali would be legit

The only matter is having those venues (at a field or not) is inexpensive to the league so those savings are passed down to us players.

Reno is the mini vegas and if other events ran both in LV and Reno (Leave the name of the event out as this is a WCPPL board) then they can happen in Nevada. Our Cali friends we offer the Casinos and the cheap rooms and food LOL. Just takes the field owners to talk to WCPPL event staff to make it happen, helps to get the word out to both parties.
