On behalf of the Y, I cant say enough about how excellent this whole weekend was! The people from JC put a ton of time and effert into this thing. I heard all the kids that came for the Paintball Clinic are getting paintball themed tattoo's today, I just want to say the Y cannot be held responsible for this..
The tournament was incredible, awsome play and great teams! I saw some of the kids from the clinic actually shaking from the intensity at the start of the first game!

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE!

I wish I could have gotten a crew together to play this. I do have a few suggestions as I did stop out for a bit to check it out. I would try and make it more visible for spectators, I saw only a very small area were spectators could see any of the field and it was very small at that. 2 sides of the field had banners from the diamond obstructing the view, a 3rd side had a large mound of dirt blocking the view, and the 4th side was roped off to those with masks on only. If you want more people to attend please post it or send some kind of flier to the other fields or shops around.

Thanks for your thoughts Scribble, I am open to any suggestions.. This event was a first for our facility so it was kinda a prototype to see how it was gonna go. JC has no problem with an event like this but we need to really see it work and find safety, financial, blah blah issues before we go all out. This event was a great size for this, and I think we were succesful in making it a good time for the kids and teams alike.

Now that we have the OK from everyone, our next event will have more marketing and less dirt piles!
