Lube and Oil recommendations + q's for the Luxe
I've read that monkey poo, marmalade, and those two mixed with eclipse oil are the best to use for the luxe.
Is the accurate information?
Can I use Hoppes or another kind of oil instead of buying this outrageously priced and rebranded crap?

That seriously hurts. Monkey poo is a great formula and I would recommend it to everyone. Don't use eclipse oil unless your bolt is polished.

As long as the oil you use doesn't swell o-rings you should be fine.
I started to use the Violent PB-Oil a couple of weeks ago. All my moded stuff comes with the Violent oil on the o-rings. It has Teflon also in it.
It will last you a long long time.

I was thinking Turbine/Pneumatic Oil + marmalade/monkey poo.
The Violent PB stuff is that good eh?

You don't need Marmalade. Only place Marmalade would go are on the regs and I would just use Dow33 instead.
Recommend Monkey Poo + Violent Oil on polished bolts.

Looks like I'm about to get school'd but:
What's in monkey poo that makes it better? Or has it just been tested to be better? What about the Violent PB Jelly; If you're using the Violent PB Oil over Eclipse, is their Jelly awesome as well?

The Violent Oil comes in a much larger thing. I run through eclipse oil fast. I also like the Violent Oil cause it's a little thicker.
There are two main factors with paintball lube.
1st = How long they last
2nd = How thin it is
How long the lube might last on your parts is also related to the thickness of the lube.
If you don’t take care of your stuff and lube your parts after every 10 cases then a thicker lube is better.
The thicker the lube, the more susceptible you are to getting bolt stick. Thinner lubes will be better with bolt stick.
That is why thinner lubes like MonkeyPoo work so well with spool valve guns.
I myself clean my guns after every day of play. So I use the thinnest lube I can and mix it with oil to thin it out even more.
So it's really up to you and and your cleaning habits.
This is my two cents and other people might not agree with the above.
I hope I made some sense..

Monkey Poo is a very thin, yet slick grease, which is essential if you want to run your marker at the most optimum settings.
I like Violent Oil because it has teflon particles and stays on longer than compared to PE Oil.
I wouldn't put PB Jelly on your bolt because it's a little too thick in my opinion (think Lurker Lube but a little thicker). I wouldn't mind putting it on my regs though.

Lube is a real bad subject.
Some people love thicker lubes and others thinner. I say get both and see what your luxe likes better.
It's just like the never ending VS threads we see all the time pop up = "Should I get a DM or a Luxe"
But back on topic- Try what you want. I myself like thicker oil's that I know for a fact don’t swell o-rings.
You should also support paintball companies..

So far on my luxe, I have used sleek, dow33, dye lube and monkey poo. It seems that it shoots the best with poo.

Well thanks for all the responses, comments, and actual reasoning behind your choices.
I will probably buy some of the violent pb oil, monkey poo, more pneumatic oil, and some crazy **** my dad's friend uses at work for making drill bits O.o
But of course I still don't have my luxe in since the guy's a douche.. It's waiting for some pooty lovin'
