Anodizing a Luxe
I'm considering getting my Luxe anodized. I just want to know if anyone has had any negative experiences that can be attributed to the ano job such as inconsistency, leaks, etc.
Besides the magnets, are there any other special care needs?
Any other helpful insider tips?
Thanks!

Send your luxe to a good anodizer and you won't have a problem.

Yeah, I'm having the one of guys from Lasermygun do it but to save on costs I'm taking the gun apart.

I am disassembling it myself. I just want to know if anyone's ever had some problems that occurred after they had an ano job done.

I would not do it. I had my angel done a long time ago and it was never the same. The orings all leaked. I would try and order a bare luxe two and send it out for anno.

That was an old angel what do you expect even there new guns have horrible tolerances and leak if you do anything that you would do with a regular marker.

Actually my luxe was running perfectly when mine got anno'd. Just a couple screws needed to be loctited but thats all. But my long rail wasnt the same story as the threads got severely messed up

Not sure yet but it's gonna be a two-color splash. I'm open to suggestions if you guys have them.

I wonder if that will be a problem for my frame because I'm pretty sure the threads are a little worn and might have been damaged to some degree because the previous owner had used snap-on screws.

Just throwing this out there - I got my Rev-i custom anno'd and lasered at Kohn Sports.
Have you heard of them?
They're fantastic people, anno is cheap with them - and you can trust them with anything.
There main guy, Gavin Anderson is fantastic too.
Just wanted to throw another anodizing company option out to you.
Good luck with everything

Thanks! I've heard of them but I'd rather do it through Shootnpoo since I've met him personally before and is local.

Yes, it is a DLX factory 1 of 5 (currently 1 of 4 since one was ano'd a different color) and anodizing this would make it a 1 of 3 lol!

I wouldn't change a thing unless you are unable to play events with it.
I always thought the rust Half-life Luxe was one of the best IMO.
