13/3000 tank worth having

Hey i was just wondering if getting a 13/3000 is worth having to cut back on the weight of the whole gun or does it become a pain having to refill it all the time? Just give me your opinion.

Do you play at a field that has all day air? If yes, get it. If you play outlaw ball... Get something else.

I went from a Phantom VSC to a Sniper, and borrowed my friend's tank for a day, before buying my 13/3000. There was a very real difference in the weight savings, plus I was able to play tighter. The small tank is a lifesaver for me, because I'm still used to my lighter Phantom.

Best thing to do is to try it for yourself to see if you like it. I've seen guys go back and forth between the 13ci and a regular 45ci or 68ci.

I tried it and I think it's nice if you like light weight and use a pocket hopper. I like to use force fed loaders, and for me they threw off the balance with the 13ci. I switched back to a full size fiber, and went with a Ninja 49 ci. Before that I used a GA 48 ci.

Having played a lot of electro semi before I got into pump, I'm accustomed to full size setups anyway so it doesn't really bother me.

I don't play with it, but when I lend out guns, I offer mine. It lightens any setup significantly. The tank itself is actually lighter than a 9 ounce tank.

As a snake player, the 13/3 offers a light and tight setup for tourneys. When im in the woods I usually roll with my 45/45 and a bigger hopper.

You might consider a 9 ounce CO2 tank as well, for the Phantom.

You could do it that way or if you got a VSC setup you can screw the tank in vertically. Many pumpers in my area play like that. You don't need a reg, a gas-thru grip is good if you want to get the bottomline setup.

I like the bulkier tanks myself (68/45). They add a bit more comfort when aiming and I never have to worry about refilling.

A teammate of mine uses one exclusively for our pump tournaments. lighter setup, and less of a profile. Can't go wrong there.

For the local pump tourneys, it's great. With a max of 40 balls per game, a single 13/3k fill spans multiple games. For recball, could go either way, although i prefer a larger tank & hopper since the games could last longer (i usually only play rec during Big Game days, so there's tons of people + limited respawn).

I was dealing with the same question not long ago. The 13 is only good in pump only game I get about 140-150 shots per tank. In woods ball I have actually run out of air and that sucks. Now I use 45/3000

They're great for gravity league (pump only, speedball, 40 balls perperson pergame).

I used one and didn't like it, I only got like 90 shots from my kp and I thought it was just to small. I use a 9oz and love it.

That would be because your gun wasn't tuned properly.

I'm thinking about getting a 13/3000 for my phantom to replace a 9 oz. and was wondering what people think the best tank available is? Guerrilla? Ninja? Pure energy?
